Harry and I have been together for nearly six
years. We met at the height of COVID and had our very first date when we were finally allowed to go to the pub, back when 10pm curfews were still a thing.
We had a 48 hour first date and I messaged my best friend's straight after to tell them I was going to marry Harry one day. It truly was love at first sight. Two months after we met, I moved in with Harry and I’ve never left since. On the 7th of July 2023, Harry proposed. He planned an entire weekend full of celebrations and surprises, including a beautiful engagement party with all our nearest and dearest. Since the day we met, we’ve travelled the world together, gone to countless music festivals, and built a beautiful life surrounded by the most wonderful friends and family.

Style Of Your Wedding
We chose to marry in the place we fell in love: London. From the very beginning, we knew we wanted something chic and intimate, set against the iconic backdrop of Chelsea. Our vision for the day was simple, effortless, and timeless something we could look back on years from now and still think, wow, that was such a cool wedding. Every detail was small but deeply meaningful. I spent the morning doing my own hair and makeup, dancing around the room with my mum and sister, soaking in every moment. I picked up my bouquet that morning, adding to the feeling that everything was unfolding naturally and exactly as it should. In true us fashion, we had planned to hop on the bus to the town hall but emotions were high until the bus never came! Luckily, a black taxi came to the rescue, and it felt like fate when we realised the driver was called Harry too. The entire day was centred around celebrating our love, surrounded by our nearest and dearest. Keeping it intimate made it feel all the more special just us, our people, and a moment in time we’ll cherish forever.
Venue Details
We chose Chelsea Town Hall as our venue because we’ve always loved how iconic and full of character it is, right in the heart of King's Road. We’ve spent countless days wandering those streets, often stopping to watch newly married couples walk out onto the road while complete strangers cheer, clap, and beep their horns in celebration. There’s something so special about that moment an entire city coming together to celebrate the love and happiness of people they’ve never even met.
Our ceremony took place in the Rossetti Room, which was perfect for the intimate, meaningful celebration we had always envisioned. After our photos, we made our way to Soho House Dean Street, where we took over a cosy private sitting room for a three-course dinner. We truly can’t speak
highly enough of how incredible they were. The team had left beautiful flowers to congratulate us, the service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely
divine. The rest of the evening unfolded exactly as we’d hoped—filled with singing, dancing, and probably far too many tequila shots. It was the perfect way to celebrate, surrounded by our favourite people, in a way that felt completely and authentically us.
Finding The Dress...Was It Love At First Sight
I had the most perfect experience finding my dress with Love Story London. It all started when I entered an Instagram competition for International Women's Day to win a wedding dress. At the time, I entered on a whim, not thinking much of it—so when the message popped up on a
Friday afternoon while I was working from home, I genuinely couldn’t believe my luck. They invited me into the boutique with my mum and sister to choose my dream dress. From the moment we arrived, it felt so special. Amelia greeted us with the warmest smile and the biggest hug, instantly making us feel at home. We were welcomed into the most beautiful, chic showroom, handed a glass of bubbles, and encouraged to browse the dresses at our own pace. I was completely giddy with excitement, knowing I’d be walking out having chosen my wedding dress. Amelia guided us through the entire process so effortlessly, sharing thoughtful details about each piece and making it all feel so personal. We laughed the whole way through, smiling from ear to ear—it was such a joyful, unforgettable experience. Choosing “the one” was honestly the hardest part. I loved so many dresses and kept saying I wished I could have seven weddings just to wear them all. The quality of every single dress was incredible, and the fit was just unreal. In the end, I chose the Blake dress. I fell in love with the drama of the neckline and the richness of the fabric—it felt bold, elegant, and completely unexpected for a town hall wedding, which made me love it even more.
I returned for a number of fittings to perfect the sizing, and together we decided to add a chiffon neck scarf for that extra touch of glamour, which made the whole look feel even more special. I truly can’t recommend Love Story London enough. Their attention to detail, their warmth, and their exquisite
dresses made the entire experience unforgettable. It’s a moment I’ll always look back on so fondly, and I feel incredibly grateful to have found my wedding dress with them.

Highlights Of Your Day
I don’t need to write much here—other than how it felt to say “I do” to the love of my life. After the ceremony, we were taken into a private room to wait for our confetti moment. We just looked at each other, grinning, and said, “Oh my lord… we’re married!” It was such a surreal, joyful moment—just the two of us, letting it all sink in. A very close second has to be our first look before the ceremony. I was so nervous beforehand, but the second I saw Harry, all of that melted away. He looked so handsome in his suit, just beaming at me. He kept saying, “Wow… you’re gorgeous, you look so beautiful,” and it gave me those same butterflies I’ve always had with him.
Your Words Of Wisdom To Future Brides
My words of wisdom would be to soak in every single second, especially in the lead-up to the day. Harry and I had a three-year
engagement, and I truly can’t recommend it enough. We made a point to celebrate everything, no matter how big or small, along the way. You’ll never experience this chapter again, so don’t hold back celebrate it all, loudly and joyfully. During the ceremony, take a moment to pause and really look around at all the smiling faces looking back at you. It’s so rare to have all of your favourite people in one place, all there for you, so take it in and enjoy every second.
Weddings can sometimes get caught up in outside noise and expectations, but my advice is to gently block that out and come back to what truly matters—you and the person you’re about to marry. It’s your day, and it should reflect you both completely. Do whatever makes you happy, and you honestly can’t go wrong.

Your Favourite Wedding Suppliers
Our wedding suppliers were truly fantastic—so easy to work with, professional, and supportive every step of the way. Of course, Love Story London made finding my dress an absolute dream. I couldn’t have asked for a more special experience. I had my nails done by Tina Chen Nails, and I’ve been going to Tina since I got engaged—she honestly became part of the wedding journey too, hearing all my plans sometimes before Harry! She went above and beyond to create the perfect set for me, and I trusted her completely. For our photography, we chose a friend of mine, Kelly Chow Photography, to capture our intimate day. Having a familiar, friendly face there made such a difference, and it meant so much to have someone I truly trusted behind the camera. That said, for anyone looking for a photographer, I genuinely couldn’t recommend her more highly. Kelly is professional, warm, and incredibly talented. As a professional dancer, she has such a natural understanding of movement and positioning, and she gives the most helpful, calming direction. She was an absolute dream to work with before, during, and after the wedding.
