After being friends for a couple of years through the rowing club, we fell for each other at a gala. Joep was dancing so exuberantly that he slipped down and had to get stitches. We spend the whole night at the emergency department of the hospital. After this night, we knew it for sure: we are a match!

Venue Details

Landgoed Rhederoord, located at De Steeg: a small town in The Netherlands. It is a private estate with beautiful French-like gardens, light and cozy chambers. It almost feels a bit royal.

Finding The Dress...Was It Love At First Sight

Together with my mother and mother-in-law, we went to Covers, Utrecht. It was certain that I wished for an elegant and fitted dress. While trying on the Olive wedding dress, my light blue eyes popped and started to fill with tears. It was a true emotional moment. Combined with the Amelia veil it was the perfect bridal look!

Highlights Of Your Day

Spontaneous moment (coincidence) where Joep and I almost saw each other before first look moment, we could hold hands already.
The ceremony was so pure and touching. In the evening we did a energetic opening dance.
